Bangladesh Society of Radiology & Imaging (BSRI) was established in the month of January 1981, nearly 10 years after the independence of our beloved nation.
The first meeting of BSRI was held on 28th of January 1981, under the chairmanship of Prof Nazrul Islam and an ad-hoc committee of the society was formed. The second meeting took place on 28th of February 1981; and was chaired by Late Prof K. S. Haque (the President of the ad-hoc committee and founder President of BSRI).
